VIP Red Bull Indianapolis GP™

Be one of the few to experience this scenic Tour through the mountains and countryside of North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Kentucky, and Indiana enroute to Indianapolis for the Red Bull Indianapolis GP event on the famed F1 Road course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  We will ride some great twisty back roads, enjoy charming overnight stays in small towns along the way and arrive in Indy in time for all the action that surrounds a World Championship Grand Prix.  VIP tickets and Hospitality all three days make it an unforgettable weekend at the most famous racing facility in the world.

Day One: (Tuesday) Arrive in Charlotte, NC and meet your bike and new friends

  • A quick pick-up from the airport to our hotel headquarters
  • Meet your motorcycle and get it set up to suit your personal riding style
  • Enjoy a nice dinner in the City known for good restaurants and meet the Blue Strada Tours staff and the other Tour guests

Day Two: (Wednesday) Head for the Mountains and Cumberland Gap

    Riding Distance: 265 miles

  • After breakfast you are off to the Mountains and great twisty roads of North Carolina
  • Lunch is in a quaint town outside of Asheville that is full of local flavor
  • You stay in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee and have an afternoon of riding scenic rolling ribbons of road
  • Our overnight stay is at a historic old mill that has been converted into a charming, yet very comfortable Inn
  • Walk to dinner and enjoy a relaxing evening with your fellow riders

Day Three: (Thursday) Horses, Tobacco and a Covered Bridge

    Riding Distance: 286 miles

  • After a home cooked Southern breakfast, the tour departs the Inn and heads through the beautiful horse and tobacco country of Kentucky
  • Lunch is in historic Corydon, IN, the first capital of the Hoosier state
  • A visit to the longest covered bridge in Indiana is in store on the afternoon ride
  • Destination for the night is the very special Story Inn — “Brown County’s premier B & B featuring gourmet dining in a most inconvenient location”
  • Spend a memorable evening in this 150 year old Inn and get ready for the short ride to Indy on Friday morning

Day Four: (Friday) Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Here we come

    Riding Distance: 65 miles

  • An easy day of riding makes sure we get to Indianapolis, checked in and off to the track in time to visit our VIP Hospitality tent, walk the track, and visit the GP Pits and Exposition
  • Dinner is at one of Indianapolis’ finest restaurants and you never know who you will run into!
  • Downtown Indy is a “motorcycle midway” beyond imagination and you are staying right in the middle of it all

Day Five: (Saturday) Track festivities, racing and Run for the Pole

  • Practice, Rookies Cup Race and a Private Tour of the Speedway Museum
  • And in the afternoon, enjoy the Run for the Pole from the Red Bull Hospitality Station located just inside the most famous turn from the 2008 GP!
  • Oh yeah, and don’t forget all there is to see at the Manufacturer’s Midway!
  • A quick dinner at a great Irish Pub downtown before heading out to....
  • The Indy Mile—AMA’s best of the best… racing at 135 mph on a one-mile dirt track oval! Just like the best footage ever seen from “On any Sunday”.

Day Six: (Sunday) Race Day is here and so are the Best in the World

  • Lots to see at the track, so we’re off early with a Police escort to catch it all (in style)
  • The Red Bull Hospitality Station suite has food and beverages all day and racing action live on closed circuit Big Screens.
  • End the day with another nice dinner close to the hotel in the heart of downtown

Day Seven: (Monday) Load ‘em up and head back South

    Riding distance: 245 miles

  • Head out on a new route through the hilly farm country of Indiana
  • The morning’s the ride will take you through historic Metamora on Indiana’s old canal system
  • New scenery as you have lunch on the Ohio River and watch the traffic on the water
  • Plenty of new twisties before we stop for the night at another upscale Inn—this one located in historic Somerset, KY
  • A relaxing, gourmet dinner will be served at the Inn as we prepare for the final ride to Charlotte

Day Eight: (Tuesday) One more drive over the mountains and into Charlotte.

    Riding Distance: 370 miles

  • Enjoy the scenic roads of Kentucky roads one more time as we cross the Blue Ridge Parkway
  • A Bistro lunch with a VIP Racing guest is in store in historic Marshall, NC
  • Arrive at the Charlotte Headquarters hotel with plenty of time to relax and have dinner on your own.

Day Nine: (Wednesday) Departure to home or another destination

  • Breakfast at the hotel and check in motorcycles
  • Transfer to Charlotte Airport as required
