VIP Red Bull Indianapolis GP™

A Nine Day Tour that includes a scenic ride through the mountains of North Carolina, Kentucky and Virginia enroute to Indianapolis for the 2010 USA Red Bull Indianapolis GP event on the famed F1 Road course of Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Along the way, we will ride some great twisty back roads, enjoy wonderful overnite stays in the country, and arrive in Indy in time for all the action that surrounds a World Championship Grand Prix.  VIP tickets and hospitality all 3 days make it a fantastic racing weekend at the most famous racing facility in the world.

Day One: (Tuesday) Arrive in Charlotte, NC and meet your bike and new friends

  • day oneA quick pick-up from the airport to our headquarters hotel for “kick-off” events
  • Meet your motorcycle and get it set up to suit your personal riding style
  • Enjoy a nice dinner and meet the Blue Strada Tours staff and Tour guests

Day Two: (Wednesday) Head for the Mountains and Cumberland Gap

    Riding Distance: 265 miles

  • After breakfast, we head for the hills of Virginia and Kentucky.
  • Enjoy a Southern BBQ lunch as we continue on to our Country Inn overnite stay
  • Wednesday’s ride is 375 miles.
  • Relax and enjoy the evening—eating great food, visiting, and preparing for Thursday’s ride

Day Three: (Thursday) Indiana...Brown County!

    Riding Distance: 286 miles

  • Depart the Inn and head north to the rolling hills of  southern Indiana
  • After lunch in Historic Corydon, we enjoy the twisties of scenic Brown County
  • Thursday’s ride is 255 miles
  • Check in at the Story Inn, relax, and enjoy this 150 year old Inn and restaurant
  • Get ready for a short ride to Indy on Friday morning

Day Four: (Friday) Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Here we come

    Riding Distance: 65 miles

  • Get an Up-Close look at Andretti Racing (Danica Patrick’s Indy Car Race Shop)
  • Visit our VIP Hospitality tent, walk the track, visit the GP Pits and Expo
  • Check in at our Downtown Hotel and head to dinner at one of Indy’s finest restaurants!
  • Enjoy Downtown Indy—a  “motorcycle midway” beyond imagination

Day Five: (Saturday) Track festivities, racing and Run for the Pole

  • Moto GP Practice, and a Private Tour of the Speedway Museum
  •  Enjoy the Run for the Pole
  • Oh Yeah, there’s more to see at the Manufacturer’s Midway!
  • A quick dinner at a great Irish Pub downtown before heading out to.... 
  • The Indy Mile!  AMA’s best of the best… racing at 135 mph on a one-mile dirt track oval!  Just like the best footage ever seen from “On any Sunday”

Day Six: (Sunday) Race Day is here and so are the Best in the World

  • Enjoy the Run for the Pole
  • Oh Yeah, there’s more to see at the Manufacturer’s Midway!
  • A quick dinner at a great Irish Pub downtown before heading out to.... 
  • The Indy Mile!  AMA’s best of the best… racing at 135 mph on a one-mile dirt track oval!  Just like the best footage ever seen from “On any Sunday”

Day Seven: (Monday) Load 'em up and head back South

    Riding distance: 325 miles

  • Head out on a new route south east through the hilly farm country of Indiana
  • Plenty of new twisties before we stop for the night at a historic Kentucky Inn
  • Monday’s distance is 325 miles
  • A top-notch dinner at the Inn reviewing the weekend and the day’s ride

Day Eight: (Tuesday) Back in NC to Pisgah Mountains and Little Switzerland

    Riding Distance: 225 miles

  • More mountain roads as we leave KY to NC and the Blue Ridge Parkway
  • Enjoy a Bistro lunch in historic Marshall with a VIP Racing guest
  • Arrive at Little Switzerland Hotel with plenty of time to relax before dinner 
  • Today’s ride is 225 miles

Day Nine: (Wednesday) Leave the mountains and arrive back in Charlotte

  • Breakfast at the hotel and wind our way through the foothills to Lake Lure
  • Lunch overlooking the lake… Great Italian food
  • Arrive Charlotte mid afternoon; turn in bikes
  • Grand Celebration Dinner

Day Nine: (Wednesday) Departurefor home or another destination
