Rules of the Road
This is not a motorcycle tour for novice riders or a venue to learn how to properly operate a motorcycle.
Scenic and twisty roads can present many different riding challenges and riders must be competent in a variety of conditions.
It is important that guests considering one of our tours are in good physical condition and are accustomed to spending several
hours in the seat of a motorcycle. Be prepared for average temperatures between 50 and 90 degrees.
We recommend that riders and passengers bring appropriate clothing for the weather conditions forecast for your scheduled trip.
Consult www.weather.com for up-to-date weather information. Rain gear is always a must!
We take the safety of our guests very seriously. Due to the nature of the sport of motorcycling, the following requirements are essential for all Blue Strada Tours guests.
- All riders (drivers) must have a valid motorcycle driver’s license from their state or country
- A minimum of two years and 8,000 miles riding experience is required
- All riders must have the experience necessary to result in competent motorcycle handling in a variety of conditions including rain, twisty mountain roads, switchbacks, as well as the possibility of gravel or debris on the pavement
- Both riders and passengers must wear a DOT approved helmet and protective eyewear at all times while on the motorcycle
- Proper riding pants, jackets, gloves and footwear are required
- All riders must be at least 25 years old
- All passengers must be at least 18 years old
- The use of drugs and/or alcohol is strictly forbidden while riding
- All riders must be comfortable operating a large displacement modern motorcycle
- Riders with passengers must have prior experience riding in the above-mentioned conditions with a passenger aboard

We are enthusiasts who believe there is no better way to take in the local scenery and culture than from the seat of a motorcycle. We are interested in answering all of your questions. Please don't hesitate to ask us — it is the key to making your Tour both fun and successful.
