Schedule

Note: The schedule and destinations may vary from tour date to tour date due to incremental tour enhancements or scheduling adjustments.

  • Day 0: International flight arrival in Delhi
  • Day 1: Train trip to Chandigarh. Meet our motorcycles and tour briefing
  • Day 2: 230 km from Chandigarh to Shoja (2,690 m – 8.825 ft) in the Kullu District, crossing the Jalori Pass at 3,130 m – 10,270 ft. A day of adaptatioon to the organized chaos of the indian road circulation
  • Day 3: 200 km from Shoja to Kalpa (3,143 m – 10,312 ft) across small towns and villages. We feel the effects of altitude for the first time.
  • Day 4: 110 km  from Kalpa to Nako (3,647 m – 11,965 ft) reaching the wonderful Spiti Valley, where the traffic flows less intensely. We are in Buddhist territory and we see here and there monks, pilgrims, and ascetics.
  • Day 5: 120 km from Nako to Kaza (3,650 m – 11,975 ft) across the Nako Pass ( 3,851 m – 12,634 ft) in an inhospital landscape surrounded by mountains. Here, when you came across a truck, there is no left or right, it’s whichever way you go.
  • Day 6: Rest day to get used to the altitude. We suggest a 50 km loop to visit Langza and Komic with its Buddhist Monastery (4,587 m – 15,049 ft).
  • Day 7: 100 km from Kaza to the Chandra Taal Lake (4,300 m – 14,107 ft), a high lake fed by the Himalayas eternal snows, coming across the magnificent Key Monastery
  • Day 8: 140 km from the Chandra Taal Lake to Jispa (3,200 m – 10,499 ft) leaving the Spiti Valley to find the Leh-Manali Highway.
  • Day 9: 220 km from Jispa to the Tso Kar salt lake (4,530 m – 14,862 ft) along the Leh-Manali Highway, conquering the Gata Loops up to the Lachulung La Pass at 5,059 m – 16,598 ft.
  • Day 10: 150 km from the Tso Kar to the Pangong Tso (4,225 m – 13,862 ft), the highest salted lake in the world. Wedged between India and Tibet, it is considered the place where Heavens and Earth meet, becoming a passage to another dimension. During the ride we cross the Kaksang La Pass at 5,436 m – 17,835 ft.
  • Day 11: 190 km from Pangong Tso to the Nubra Valley (3,100 m – 10,171 ft), the “Garden of the Desert”, that combines sandscapes of dunes with snow-capped mountains and winding rivers in a surprising mix of natural beauty.
  • Day 12: 120 km from the Nubra Valley to Leh (3,500 m – 11,483 ft). In only 80 km we reach the Kardung La Pass (5,602 m – 18,380 ft). The engines fail for lack of oxygen, but the impossible becomes true: we reach the highest asphalted pass in the World and we celebrate! 40 more kilometers and we are in Leh, the capital of Ladakh, where we drop our faithful Royal Enfields.
  • Day 13: From Leh we geat an early flight to Delhi, back to the chaotic capital city life. Take your time to discover its temples, food and culture, before flying back home. Goodbye India, see you again soon!

  • Morning departures are typically 9:00 or as advised
  • Afternoon arrivals normally leave time to relax before dinner
